Project Protocols

Livestock

The Registry is in the process of updating the June 2007 Livestock Project Reporting Protocol.  Included in the next version (Version 2) will be updated guidance for monitoring and record keeping.  The new language will provide guidance for instrument calibration, record keeping, and monitoring plan development.  Refer to the Monitoring and Record Keeping sections of the Landfill Project Reporting Protocol for an example of the guidance that will be included in the next version of the Livestock Project Reporting Protocol.  Furthermore, Version 2 will include minor corrections to equations (see Addendum below).

Landfill

The Registry is in the process of updating the November 2007 Landfill Project Reporting Protocol.  Included in the next version (Version 2) will be updated guidance for developing a monitoring plan, as well as guidelines for allowing open flare combustion devices.  The new version will also re-address the NMOC threshold (Appendix B) to reflect the results of ongoing research.  Additionally, Version 2 will include an important correction to equation 1 (see Addendum below).
