Southern California Edison (SCE) and the California Climate Action Registry present The Cool Planet Project, bringing SCE customers added value and benefits when participating in both SCE Energy Efficiency programs and CA Registry membership.
Reducing energy usage also reduces greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Hence, by participating in SCE Energy Efficiency programs you may already be reducing GHG emissions. By joining the CA Registry you can track and record those reductions and may be eligible to receive early action recognition.
Benefits of SCE Energy Efficiency Programs Financial incentives for installing high energy equipment or systems.Financial incentives for process improvements that reduce power density/energy consumed per production unit.Complimentary energy audit of your SCE facility. Customized programs to meet the needs of specific industries and situations (industrial and agriculture).Design assistance to maximize operating potential and minimize cost.Benefits of Participating in the Cool Planet Project
Install energy efficiency project(s) that potentially save at least 1 million kWh annually and SCE will pay up to 50% of the project cost + 100% of Registry first year membership fee + 50% of the first year GHG certification fee.Install project(s) that potentially save at least 3 million kWh annually and receive the above and 100% of the first year GHG certification fee. Reducing energy usage reduces GHG emissions.Potential recognition for GHG emission reductions under AB 32.Publicity and marketing assistance to convey customers' environmental leadership to the public.For more details regarding eligibility requirements for this program, please contact your Southern California Edison representative. Reimbursement not to exceed $15k per customer, funds are based on first come first served until funds are depleted.
