Registry Design Charette

Design Charette Summary

A design charette was hosted by the Energy Foundation in October 2001 to ensure a thoughtful and successful launch of the Registry. The charette served as a forum for synthesizing the existing knowledge surrounding GHG reporting issues, and for identifying key issues important in creating a high quality Registry.

The charette consisted of a series of focused roundtable discussions to provide guidance in shaping the Registry's programmatic development. Attendees included a small group of experts with experience in GHG emissions accounting and reporting issues along with potential Registry participants.
